WhatsApp would work on new features for its users. The messaging app is currently testing a new version of message reactions. This will be for a future WhatsApp beta update for android. According to reports, these updates will also be available for desktop computers.

WABetaInfo is an independent portal that provides news and updates on WhatsApp. So far, beta users can choose between six different emojis — Like, Love, Laugh, Surprised, Sad, and Thanks — to react to a message. According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp will add a few more features to the feature.

The portal said: “When we announced that WhatsApp was working on the ability to react to messages, we explained that it was possible to choose between 6 different emojis: Like, Love, Laughing, Surprised, Sad and Thank you. Some people wanted more emojis to use as reactions, and WhatsApp is finally working on a new version that offers more reactions for a future app update!!”

According to media reports, the Facebook-backed messaging app is also working on a new feature. This feature will make it easier for users to send messages to unregistered contacts. Last month, WhatsApp introduced six new voicemail features.
