There are plenty of tech goodies on Amazon this weekend. (Photos: Amazon)

Some people are weekend warriors; some are weekend shoppers. If you fall into the latter category, good news: Amazon has some solid deals on some great tech products. Below, I’ve rounded up my top picks, all discounted and in stock at the time of writing. It can change at any time, so if you see something interesting, I recommend grabbing it.

(Pro tip: If you have Amazon Prime, you’ll of course get free shipping. Not a member yet? No problem. You can sign up for your 30-day free trial of Amazon Prime here.)

This version of the Wyze Cam comes with an LED light accessory.

The Wyze Cam v3 home security camera is already a killer deal at $36; this is a very rare chance to get the Spotlight add-on at no additional cost.

The camera itself is a neat little work of Wi-Fi that can work indoors or outdoors; it’s weatherproof for the latter, although of course you need somewhere to plug it in. Either way, you get 1080p video streamed to your phone; two-way voice communication; night vision; free cloud storage; and lots of other benefits.

I’m a big fan of these cameras, which makes this deal too good to pass up.

The Facebook Portal 10 has its own stand, making it an easy fit wherever you want to place it.

If you want a device that’s both a smart display and a photo frame, the Facebook Portal is a solid choice, especially when it’s on sale for $99. (Picture: Facebook)

The Facebook Portal is a smart screen designed for video calling, although it can do so much more. It originally retailed for $179 (and more recently $149), but right now Amazon has the Facebook Portal for just $99. This ties the lowest price ever.

Available in black or white, the Portal looks like a digital photo frame (and of course that’s one of its capabilities), which can work in both portrait and landscape orientations. It supports video calls via Facebook Messenger, Whatsapp and Zoom. Its fixed-frame camera’s digital pan and zoom function will help you stay “in frame” as you move.

Even if you don't need the Roku part of this soundbar, $80 is a steal on a soundbar! (Picture: Roku)

The Roku Streambar kills two birds with one rock – or, as my more discerning friends like to say, feeds two birds with one scone. First of all, it’s a soundbar, something every TV owner absolutely needs (because the TV’s built-in speakers all point down or back, exactly where your ears are not).

Second, it’s a Roku streamer, capable of streaming everything from Netflix to HBO to YouTube. This is great if you’re upgrading a “dumb” TV or looking for an alternative to your existing streaming setup. (Example: You may not like the user interface offered by your LG TV.)

The Streambar is a top-notch product, with 4K streaming and a voice-activated remote. I own one, and it’s great.

Is it Black Friday already? Not quite, but Apple’s latest AirPods are back on sale for just $140, matching that Black Friday low.

These true wireless headphones are for people who don’t like the feel of AirPods Pro and similar headphones, which somehow nestle in your ear canals to create a noise-isolating seal. Therefore, you don’t get noise cancellation here, but you do get an adjustment that some users definitely prefer.

You also get Apple’s legitimate Spatial Audio feature: when you watch, say, Netflix on your iPhone, the sound seems to come from in front of you, even when you turn your head. Unlike the previous generation AirPods, these are sweat and water resistant and come with a case that supports wireless charging.

Wait, Zoom on a TV? Yes, just plug a compatible webcam into one of Amazon's Fire TV Omni series models. (Photo: Amazon)

Need a new TV for your living room, office, bedroom, or anywhere else where midsize is the right size? Look no further: For a limited time, the 43-inch Amazon Fire TV Omni Series is on sale for $285. That’s a big $125 off and the lowest price ever. Lower, even, than Black Friday.

The Omni series is notable for a number of reasons, not the least of which is Amazon’s built-in Fire TV interface. This not only gives access to all the major streaming services, but also a nifty selection of games and apps. And here’s the big news: Zoom recently joined that list. Big screen video calls, anyone?
