PUBG Mobile bans 471,873 accounts in sweeping crackdown; Cheats on Facebook, targeted YouTube too

Nowadays, the more popular a game is, the more it is used by fraudsters to deceive players via cheat advertisements, etc. This forced the game to launch a crackdown and the latest PUBG Mobile Ban Pan 4/8-4/14 Anti Cheating Report reveals that it permanently suspended 4,71,873 accounts and 5,694 devices from April 8 to April 14. The game then said it had removed 8,228 online cheat ads with 14,526,920 subscribers and views, in week 14. The information was provided by PUBG Mobile on its official Twitter account. “#PUBGMOBILE #BanPan Report From 08/04 to 14/04, we permanently suspended 471,873 accounts and 5,694 devices. In week 14, we removed 8,228 online cheat ads with 14,526,920 subscribers and views. Report cheat ads online: https://bit .ly/3soBavK,” PUBG Mobile tweeted. According to information provided by PUBG Mobile, the game has deleted 66 Facebook pages and groups, 8119 YouTube videos and 43 Instagram accounts.

Meanwhile, it can be noted that PUBG Mobile is banned in India. “To comply with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology Interim Order dated September 2, 2020, Tencent Games will terminate all services and access for users in India to PUBG MOBILE Nordic Map: Livik and PUBG MOBILE Lite (together, “PUBG Mobile”) on October 30, 2020. Publishing rights for PUBG MOBILE in India will revert to the PUBG intellectual property owner,” the game said.

PUBG Mobile continues to update players on events and other details through its official Twitter account. The Sunday April 17 game announced that Month 9 of the Royale Pass will end on April 19.
