How the Amazon union vote in New York could impact more places

EFFECT. YEAH A CHAMPAGNE TOAST IN NEW YORK. IN EFFECT. IT’S BEEN A LONG TIME THAT A JOB HAS NOT WON THIS BIG. THIS IS CERTAINLY A SIGNIFICANT ENT. YOU CAN BE A MANAGEMENT TEACHER. JACK HOWARD SAYS A NEW UNION STILL HAS OBSTACLES LIKE GETTING A FIRST CONTRACT. BU ITF THIS IS A GOOD SO IT WILL CAUSE OTHER WORKERS IN OTHER PLACES TO TAKE NOTICE. AND ASK YOURSELF WHY THEY ARE DOING THE SAME WORK. WHY THE WHY IS THERE PAYING THE VEDIFFERENT LEL? WHY IS THE LABOR STRUCTURED DIFFERENTLY HERE IN ALABAMA WHILE THE OFFICIAL RESULTS ARE THE BESSEMER VOTE MAY NOT BE KNOWN FOR SEVERAL WEEKS AS THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF DISPUTED BALLOTS STILL TO TAKE. IT IS CLEAR THAT THE NEW YORK VOTE IS CONSIDERED ONE OF THE GREATEST VICTORIES FOR ORGANIZED WORK IN A GENERATION AFFECTING LABOR STANDARDS WORKING UNIONS ACROSS THE AMAZON AND FOR THAT MATTER, ACROSS AMERICA THE PROFESSOR HOWARD SSAY AMAZON IS DEALING WITH A RAPID POST-PANDEMIC CHANGE IN THE WORKPLACE AND IS CONSIDERING OFFERING ENHANCED BENEFITS FOR NON-UNION WORKERS. I GET THE NATURAL TREND IF I’M A BUSINESS OWNER. I WANT TO RUN IT MY WAY. BUT I ALSO HAVE MY THOUGHT IT’S JUST ME AS A PERSON. I KNOW I CAN’T DO EVERYTHING BY MYSELF. I MUST HAVE A GOOD TEAM. AND AND THESE WORKERS ARE PART OF THE TEAM. THE ISSUE NOW IS IF THE GAMENC TEAM ENVISAGES A RESURGENCE OF UNIONS WHOSE INFLUENCE IN MEMBERSHIP HAS BEEN IN CONSTANT DECLINE FOR DECADES.
