Instrumental launched frtyfve records in 2018 as a home for emerging independent artists. Our data-driven label uses its proprietary technology platform to discover and connect with talent globally.

Over the past 12 months, Instrumental has launched its own in-house global distribution solution, expanded our catalog to over 3.5,000 records, surpassed 1 billion streams and made history with a 4and consecutive No. 1 Christmas single in the UK. Instrumental is backed by Blenheim Chalcot, the UK’s leading digital venture capital firm.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Rights management on all UGC platforms

Managing content issues and conflicts on YouTube, Facebook and other UGC services, working with our delivery partner to create effective workflows to prevent and resolve these issues

Management of our artists’ channels/content on YouTube and UGC services

Advise our artists and marketing team on how YouTube can be used to grow their catalogs, creating best practices/guidelines for internal and external use. Propose and coordinate marketing initiatives of the UGC service for our artists, with the marketing team of frtyfve

Maximize the growth opportunities of our catalog on YouTube

Be at the forefront of new platform developments and trends, working with the business to make the most of all new opportunities

What we need to see:
  • At least 12 months of working experience with YouTube CMS
  • A solid understanding of Facebook Rights Manager
  • Understanding of music monetization on YouTube and UGC services
  • Demonstrated understanding of social marketing
  • A passion for music and technology
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High degree of self-motivation and autonomy
  • Based in UK
