Last week, the polling organization announced the launch of the Campaign SAFE Comelec e-rally channel on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/COMELECeRallyChannel) which will provide e-rally airtime to all bona fide nominees for president. , vice-president and senator, as well as to each participating Party-List organization.

Comelec has indicated that it will publish a schedule of e-rally time slots for each elective position, which will be distributed as follows: presidential (10 minutes), vice-presidential (10 minutes), senatorial (3 minutes), party- list (3 minutes) and political parties (10 minutes).

He added that the live broadcast of the e-rallyes will take place every evening on the polling body’s official social networks from February 8.

“Each evening there will be three presidential slots and three vice-presidential 10-minute slots, and ten 3-minute slots for the party list,” Comelec said.

Comelec spokesman James Jimenez said the Commission will issue relevant guidelines on how candidates and party list organizations can participate in the e-Rally channel.

“This platform can help ensure that even contestants with fewer followers can still get more views and exposure, so to speak,” he said in a statement.
